The first period we played as well as we (had) all year. They took over in the second, but we got it back.

The difference was obviously the first period. We knew they'd come out hard regardless of who they had in the lineup, and they did.

The guys made it easy for me. I kept seeing the second shot. I think it's indicative of how hard this team worked that (Providence) kept having to hook and take penalties.

These guys are great. All you can ask any rookie to do is play hard, and these guys are doing so.

For the first two periods, we played a great road game. A couple of unfortunate bounces wound up in (our net). It's a tough position to be in.

He should be worried about playing the game, not innovating it. He thinks he's Brett Hull or something. You should remind him that he didn't go to college. He's a junior (hockey) guy. So he's not that bright.

I don't know if it's a day or 30 days. Whatever it is, I'll be ready and help this team win.

His best play wasn't a save at all.

Any time you create more scoring chances, it's better for the game.
